What's the challenge?

Lake Bled is one of the 25 most beautiful places in the world, according to CNN. Just being here is a dream!

Lake Bled is located in a picturesque location, surrounded by mountains and forests, making it one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. The purest and transparent water in the lake has an unusually beautiful blue hue, which creates a wonderful contrast with green forests and high mountains.

A medieval castle rises on a hill above the lake, and in the center of the lake is a small island that barely fits a church. The combination of nature and medieval architecture gives this place a fabulous look.

We will have the opportunity to plunge into this incredible beauty!

Swimmers are waiting not only for excellent landmarks, but also for unique photographs.

The starting city is located at Castle Bathing Area, which has all the necessary infrastructure.

The distances are suitable for swimmers of any level, the water promises to be warm, waves are rare here, and for beginners there is a distance of 500 meters.

There is a walking path around the entire lake, the fans will be able to be nearby throughout the entire distance.
On the island of Bled, incredible nature is perfectly combined with a developed infrastructure, there are many cozy cafes and restaurants where you can taste local dishes overlooking the lake. Large selection of hotels and apartments for every budget. Entertainment for all ages and requests: from ice skating to casinos.

We don't know what you will remember the most, but it will definitely be unforgettable!

X-waters is you!

It was my first time doing a 10k swim. The swim itself felt relaxing, the scenary around the lake made it a moment worth experiencing. Seeing the other participants swimming all around at all times felt motivating. All in all I would recommend this course for anyone willing to try themselves at any given distance, shorter or longer. The support from the crew was also very well organized. Would definetly consider coming back next year. @mariaci94

I had a really special time swimming in the turquoise waters of Lake Bled in September 2025.

The race had a great atmosphere and was run professionally, a few more buoys would have been useful for me to see the swim track, but apart from this, everything about X-WATERS was 100% positive for me!
